Is this possible? I don't know the park at all, so not sure if we could get a decent viewing spot for the fireworks once we've seen fantasmic?

Thinking of booking ADR at Mama Melrose for 7.50 pm. Is this enough time to eat before fantasmic starts at 9?

Thanks in advance. :)

Yes, it's possible. You won't have the best spot ever for the fireworks, especially if the park is crowded, but it won't be horrible. Plenty of folks do this every day.

A 7:50pm ADR is almost certainly too late for making it to a 9pm Fantasmic. MM is across the park from the Fantasmic theater, and the seating at Fantasmic fills up pretty quick. Plus, MM tends to run a little (or a lot) late. I'd go for an earlier ADR if you can get it.

If you are thinking of eating at Mama Melrose you might want to consider the Fantasmic Dining Package. Even with the package you need to be at Fantasmic 30 minutes before showtime.

Ok thanks, will bear that in mind. Looking at the menu, not sure MM would be perfect for our insanely fussy party, so perhaps we will give the meal a miss and grab a snack which we can munch on while waiting for Fantasmic.

One of the most asked questions lol

Definitely possible and you can find good spots if you beat the Fantasmic crowd out. I do this by leaving about 2 minutes before the shows over and watching the finale from the top as were walking out..we are always the first out the arena and don't have to deal with the crowds. Or you could sit near the top and leave when it's over. However you want to deal with the crowds, the quicker you leave, the more chance you'll have of seeing all the Star Wars fireworks and getting a good spot.

Also like others said, yea 7:50 would be far too late for a dinner to catch a 9pm Fantasmic. No matter if your doing the dining package, fast pass (you can usually easily get Fantasmic as a 4th FP), or standby..I strongly recommend you get there 45min-1 hour prior to showtime to have full choice of seats.

If you choose not to eat beforehand though, there is food options inside Fantasmic. Soda, beer, nachos, pretzels, popcorn, etc

I don't like how little time there is between the end of Fantasmic! and the beginning of Symphony in the Stars. If you're in a wheelchair watching Fantasmic!, especially, and directed to sit in the far side of the theater, there's practically no chance of getting a good spot to watch the fireworks.

Do it every time, worth hitting DHS alone multiple nights when we are there.

Where is the best place to go to then, after Fantasmic to get a decent view of the fireworks?

You'll want to be looking toward the middle of the park toward the Great Movie Ride. So anywhere along the street with an unobstructed view

Yes exactly. We just found that the area was about 2/3 full by the time Fantasmic! was over and we exited, with the other 1/3 of the area cordoned off for traffic control. It seems to me that there are better areas to set off the fireworks, where they can be seen by more people, such as behind the stage of the Fantasmic theater itself.
