Fantasmic Fastpass update

Please can anyone update the whole Fantasmic Fastpass thing? The last informative post was in December, surely things have been sorted out a bit since then? Can you still sit on the River Belle Terrace without a Fastpass? And have they sorted out reserved seating for the dinner packages properly yet?

The dining package viewing areas have seem to stabalize and haven't changed all that much in general. The Blue Bayou package is front and center (guaranteed ground seating), the RBT and Dessert Party are on either side of the the Blue Bayou (no ground seating guaranteed, but it sounds like most folks in that area can/do sit down). Aladdin dining packages get a FP for the regular FP viewing areas (so basically, standing room only). There might be some ground seating in the regular FP areas, but only right up against the RoA; the majority of the FP viewing area is standing room only.

In terms of the RBT outdoor seating areas, I think some of it still in use for the RBT dining packages. One poster mentioned that late diners could remain at their table to watch the show if they wished, but the view was only okay (which makes sense because most of the RBT seating area has an obscured view). I do not know how much of the outdoor seating area is used for RBT dining package (my guess is the area to left of the exit (as you exit RBT and head towards RoA) is used for RBT diners. I don't know if any of the tables to the right are used or if any towards the Stage Door Cafe are left available for guests on a first-come-first-serve basis.
