fantasmic dinner...which restaurant?

Trying to choose which restaurant to choose for the fantasmic dinner package. Not sure yet if we are doing the dining plan but if we don't are they all the same price for the package or is one restaurant more expensive than the other?

Also which one has the best food? We are a family of 4, big eaters, kids aged 3 and 9. Thought this info would be helpful since everyone's eating habits and family are different.

Brown Derby would be 2 dining credits, otherwise, I think they others are the same? I cannot talk to the options outside of the Brown Derby. We enjoyed the last meal we had there, though we were childless at the time. We are going to go again on our upcoming trip with the kidlet and see how she likes it there. I have heard great things about Mama Melrose's.

On the DDP HBD is 2 credits. MMs and H&V are1. HBD and MM have both lunch and dinner times for the F. dining package. H&V only does dinner.

We very much enjoyed our meals at both HBD and MMs. We consider the meals we had at H&V to be the worst we ever had at WDW.

We'll be doing Mama Melrose this year, with Fantasmic Package. Food's great!

I looked at the menus and leaning towards mama Melrose so far. With the package that includes the entrée drink and dessert, can you pick anything from their regular with the package or is it a specified shorter menu?

At HBD and MM, you pick from the regular menu except for dessert at MM which is a dessert sampler platter. The F! dining package also includes an appetizer.
