Fantasmic dinner times for late Aug.?

I have a Fantasmic dinner package booked for late Aug. but the only time they could give me was 4:20. I made the reservation months ago figuring that they would release later seating times closer to Aug.

When I called Disney Dining today, the CM said that the latest times available are 4:30 at Mama Melrose. She said that the "dinner rush" is after that and they dont allow Fantasmic packages to be booked then. Is this the case now?
I remember eating at Brown Derby using the Fantasmic package and we ate much later than 4:20!

I would call back in a week or so, I've heard of later times opening up the closer to your date. We have a 6:00 ps at H&V on Aug. 9.

We had originally booked a Fantasmic package for the latest time at 5:30 when our 90 day window opened up for our July trip. I called and called and about 6 weeks before we left, they did open up later times. We got a 6:30 PS, with Fantasmic being at 9PM that night. It is entirely possible that all the later Fantasmic packages have already been booked, or they haven't opened them up yet. The only thing you can do is keep calling.

I agree with the others...keep trying.
We were in the same boat for our trip last week. We could only book 4:30 and in trying back we were literally told "Mama Melrose only serves dinner from 4:00-4:30. ROFL! We we ended up with a 5:20 PS and ironically the restaurant wasnt very full at all. We wondered if that had something to do with later times not being released until later. Maybe people arent trying back???

I tried earlier today for 8/27 and there was nothing later than 4:30. Fantasmic is at 8:30 that night, so I'm hoping they will open up some times closer to 6 PM. I guess we'll have to keep trying.....

Everyone who hasn't yet, TRY AGAIN!

They opened up more times yesterday for late August!!

I just got off the phone and was able to get 6:30p for August 23 after trying all this week!

YEAH! That's about 25 days out in case you were wondering.

This is good to know because I just booked my PS at the Hollywood & Vine for October 9 and the latest time they had was 4:30. Now that I know they may open up later seatings, I will definately be calling to check. Thanks for the information!!!
