Fantasmic dinner plan during Jersey week

Not sure if it should be on this forum or over at the theme park planning one so I apologized if it's in the wrong place.

For folks who travel to WDW during Jersey week, which is Nov.6-10 this year. Do you need ADR's and do you do the Fantasmic dinner package? We generally don't make ADR's unless its a really special occasion but this will be our first trip during this time of the year.

I plan on making a few "just in case ADR's" but with the Fantasmic package you now have to leave a CC # to book (ugh, I hate trying to plan a meal 6 months out. ) Is this a real busy week? How far in advance do I have to cancel without getting "dinged" on my cc?

We went last year and yes it was busy but managable. I saw tons of people being turned away for dining. So I would make any ADR's that you know you must have so you will not be dissapointed

the first full week in november....... all schools are closed Thursday and Friday for teachers convention ...lots are closed that Tuesday also for election day..............Our schools are ONLY open on that Monday so it is the perfect time to take the kids out
