Would you spend the extra $ to eat at the Brown Dinner or is the food just as good at Mamma Melrose or Hollywood and Vine? Thanks for the feed back

We're hoping to be able to get FDP reservations this year at Brown Derby. too. We've eaten there as well as Mama Melrose and our entire family prefers BD - I think it is well worth the extra $$$. Oh, ummmm, unless you happen to be going the last week in May. I've heard the food and service really goes downhill that week. Spread the word.

I have not eaten at BD. However, if you choose to do MM or H&V definitely go with MM. The food is better.

Steer clear of H&V. Everything (food, service and cleanliness) was awful.

Don't, I repeat, DON'T do H&V. The food is awful there. We had dinner there when we visited a few weeks ago, and it was HORRIBLE!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Not even my dogs. Thats how bad it was. I did complain, and the only thing I got out of it was a fast pass for rockin roller coaster. That cost me $80. That was for three of us.

We always do Mama Melrose. We did H&V--after two horrible experiences you could not pay us to eat there again. We did Brown Derby six years ago. It was mediocre at best--very overrated from the reviews we had read at that time. My DH, who is a big dessert lover, hated the grapefruit cake. The service was terrible as well. We always give places two tries, but we just can't see using two table service credits each for a meal we were not pleased with. We've always been happy with Mama Melrose--good food and good service.

I agree with KATMARK! We've eaten several times at all three and prefer Mama Melrose. Brown Derby has decent food, but our service has always been spotty and definitely not worth the price or 2 credits on the DDP. We had dined at Hollywood and Vine three times, before we finally learned our lesson. It is REALLY, REALLY, bad. For us at least Mama Melrose is the best of the bunch.

We had the Fantasmic Dinner at HBD in 2007 and loved it!! The food was superb and the service was excellent( I had a wonderful Filet Mignon there! )!! This was one of my top 3 Theme park restaurants!
Previously eaten in Mama Melroses and thought it was ok, nothing special but not too bad either!
