Fantasmic Dinner package

We're going Feb. 7-13. Do you think it's necessary to book the package so we won't have to wait extra long, or just take our chances coming in? I'm assuming it won't be as crowded as other times we have gone (i.e. Pres. week). Thanks.

No matter what time of year i would get there at least an hour early.
I don't know what the crowds are like at that time so I can't speak on that.

If you're planning on eating at a sit-down restaurant at MGM, I don't understand why you wouldn't do the Fantasmic dinner package. Even if you don't use the seating (and you decide to get there early for other seating), the package isn't an extra cost. Personally, I don't think that the seats for the package are bad. True, they're on the side, but I don't really think there's a bad seat in the house.
