Fantasmic Dinner Package

Thanks for all the helpful information regarding the FDP.... I have ours booked for January at the H&V..... still not sure that we need it as we are going during low season, but as someone else said " you gotta eat somewhere"... and with DH on the Atkins program, it will be good to be able to have dinner somewhere that he can definitely find something to eat. We will just do a light/early lunch that day and save our appetites and $$ for the buffet...Glad to hear about the raincheck type thing if the show is rained out... hate to spend on that $$ on a meal we may not have purchased anyway and then get gyped out of the show!

memymomonica- quick question for you- which CM did you ask concerning crowd levels/ advice for waiting for Fantasmic? I will gladly wait as long as I need to, but I have no experience to gauge WDW crowds to know if it's a busy night. Thanks for any info!

It is the little building next to where they post the ride wait times. Sorry, I don't know it's name. He was sitting in a kiosk like building. He was very forthcoming with information. He never mentioned a raincheck though if the show was rained out. I specifically asked him, "What happens if it rains?". His answer was "The show is cancelled. It is a gamble." We decided not to gamble. Had great seats and showed up about 30 min. before the show. Another poster mentioned the raincheck. We might have gone with the package if that was offered. The package I saw also had a set menu for 2 of the 3 restaurants. I think others have posted they were able to order off the menu at one of restaurants that I saw a set menu for. Does that make sense? We were there Sept. 30. Maybe it just depends on who you talk to to. Hope that helps.
