I called yesterday to try to get clarification, and it was like an Abbot and Costello routine.

Me: So, is it a "fixed price"?

CM: It's a pre-set price but you can order anything you like.

Me: What if you order something that costs less than the preset price?

CM: It's just an example.

Me: What do you mean? Do you still pay the preset price if you only get a salad.

CM: No, you can order anything you like and you pay for what you order.

Me: So, why is it called a preset price? Are you sure of what you just told me.

CM: Let me check. [Hold. Delay. Proceeds to read me a long list of items off the menu.]

Me: But what if I order something that costs less than $50, do I still pay $50.

CM: No.

Me: Are you sure.

CM: Let me check. [Delay] You can order anything off the menu.

Me: Can you see if Mama Melrose is available insted?

CM: Sure.

OK. Thanks. That made me laugh... and it was typical of some of my conversations when I've asked tough questions! Once I had questions that only the marina at the resort could answer.... after I was annoying and insistent enough, they eventually connected me to the actual marina attendant's phone.
