Fantasmic Dinner Package

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre will be participating in this anytime this year? I'd love to book the package but Sci-Fi is the only MGM restaurant we're interested in!

That's my understanding too unfortunately. Do none of the others appeal at all? I can recommend H&V and HBD

No they're both far too fancy for our tastes (we'd be having to ask Sci-Fi to change things to make them plain/would they do fries?) Oh well, maybe they'll start doing it one year!

Is this package available on the dining plan or must it be booked and paid seperately ?

No, you can get it on the dining plan - as far as I know, it is 2 TS credits. I could be wrong though - someone will correct me if so, I'm sure

I think 2 of them are 1TS credit and the other (Brown Derby? It's the fanciest one) is 2TS as it counts as a "Signature Experience" like CRT.

H&V is certainly not fancy - it's simply a table service buffet. Whilst the atmosphere is nothing to rave about, the food is good and there is lots of selection.

I asked about this once when calling WDW reservations and was told that other dining locations are added during peak times. It may be worth checking just in case Sci-Fi has been added for the time you will be at WDW.

H&V is certainly not fancy - it's simply a table service buffet. Whilst the atmosphere is nothing to rave about, the food is good and there is lots of selection.

I think people's definations of "fancy" food can be very varied! Me and Scott just had a look over the menus for all 3 of the Fantasmic package restaurants and there wasn't a single entree we'd eat without having to have the chef completely change it - even at H&V. The amount of money these places are charging - we can't justify getting them to change it to steak and fries!
