Fantasmic Dinner PAckage - Worth it?

We have the fantasmic dinner package booked and it seems really popular.

Is it reallly worth it? How is dinner at Hollywood and Vine? It just hasn't been a place we really cared to go. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

It's definitely worth it. It costs no more than you would spend on a normal meal at the restaurants and you get to sit in a reserved section for the show without standing in line for an hour or two. We've done it twice and it's the only way to go.

We've never done it, but booked it for our next trip. (Brown Derby). We waited in line so long last time for Fantasmic that I think it is definitely worth it!

We usually see Fantasmic every other trip and book the package as one of our meals. Personally we've tried H & V a couple of times & have sort of crossed it off our list. They can't seem to run on time (or anywhere close to on time) and the food is just so-so. It's a buffet and we usually enjoy Disney's buffets but this one lacks something for us. We now book our package at Mama Melrose's. We always enjoy the food there. If you stick with H & V don't go with high expectations - there is a reason why it's the cheapest option. It is just not the best food on property.

IMHO, I felt it was worth it. YOu have to eat anyway; right? Not having to get there 1 hour in advance with two small kids was great. We thought H&V was okay. But, then again, we think that of most of the restaurants with the exception of the signatures.
