Fantasmic Dinner Package times

I called today to make reservations for the Fantasmic Dinner Package (90 Day Mark) and the latest time they had was 4:00. Who wants to eat dinner at 4:00. Why do they do that? I know I can start calling again at 30 days for later times but thats kind of a pain. You would think they would let the people who call at the 90 day mark choose from the good times.... Oh well I just had to let off steam... so far calling for priority seating has been easy....all the cm's have been very nice.

when I called a few days ago to get a seating for our trip in June, I was told the only times they had opened up were 4:00-4:30. They said to call back at the 30 day mark and more time should be open.

Me, I am one of those crazy people who actually prefers a 4:00 time for PS. For our June trip I purposely booked 4:00 at H&V for Fantasmic so that we would have time to ride some things before Fantasmic while everyone else is eating their later dinners. PLus we have ample time to walk around and not feel so stuffed before bedtime. We also have DS5 who doesn't like to eat a big meal later in the evening, so it works out well for us.

I have to agree with the above post. I have our Fantasmic Dinner PS for 4:20 and after my DH and talked about,we are leaving it that way. If we feel hungry later we can have popcorn while watching the show.

I have a 6:20p PS at Brown Derby for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. It was 4p to start and at the 30 day mark, I received an email from the pre-planning office saying they were able to get a later time..

I have a 4:20pm PS at Mama Melrose's for May 19th. I called at the 30 day mark and was told they hadn't opened later times yet and to call back in a week or so. I called yesterday (20 days out) and was again told they hadn't opened later times yet and to try at 2 weeks out.

That's interesting. I'm doing the FDP on May 11th. I called at 29 days out and they had opened up later times by that point.

We had ours at 4:20 last time we went. I liked it because we had time to go on other rides before the show. We didn't feel like we had to rush through dinner just to make it on time. We will do the same thing this year.

If our 4:30 time was later in our trip it might work, but it's on our second day and we are on CST so that's dinner at 3:30. I am going to try to get something at 6:00 which is our normal dinner time here (5:00).
