Fantasmic Dinner Package...book the day of?

Can you book the dinner package the day of the show? Do you have to still call or is the dinner booth at MGM Studios still there? Is it required for a credit card to save the spot?

I'm guessing this should be on the restauant board - however it is possible to book on the day of if there is anything available. We just booked for 2 weeks from now.. You do need a Credit Card to hold the PS. Also if you decide to cancel - you must do so within 48 hours or there will be a $10 per person charge. Also note that they are making you eat earlier now for some reason. That was the only issue we had. We have 4:40 ressies. That's a bit early for us - but we did it anyway.

Regarding the cancellation policy: To avoid the $10pp charge, do you need to cancel within 48hrs. of making the ressie, or prior to 48 hrs before the actual CP date? Also, do you pay at the time of making the ressie, or will they hold the ressie with a credit card and you can pay when you "pick up" the package? I have enough Visa dream reward points to cover this and want to use them to pay if at all possible.

I'm pretty sure they said that you can cancel up to 48 hours of the actual ressie. I'm also pretty sure that you pay once your there. They only want the CC to hold the ressie. I'm sure you can use your reward dollars.

The cc is just to hold the ps, it is not charged. You have until 48 hours before the actual seating to cancel without the $10 pp penalty. We are doing this in December and have a 4:00 seating. I think the early seating will work out well for us with young kids.
