Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose Special Menu?

For some reason I though if you did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose's they had a different menu. I just went to Allearsnet.com site and couldn't find the menu. Anyone know if they changed or where I could find the menu?


This is all it said:

Mama Melrose $32.99 adult/$11.99 child (3-9) (plus tax and gratuity). Adult meal includes appetizer, entree, dessert and non-specialty, non-alcoholic beverage. Children must order from Children's Menu, and have a choice of soup or salad, entree, dessert and child's beverage

When we did Mama Melrose for Fantasmic Package two years ago it was the same menu as it is for the non-Fantasmic package.

Regular menu.

I think they did away with the special menu around 2006, maybe?

In Sept. it was just the regular menu but they charged that price.

ahhh thank you... hmmm I noticed under the fantastmic dinner package it included an appetizer too, but with the dining plan for a sit down they did away with the appetizer. anyone know if you still get the appy then?

We did the free dining promo in around Sept 13, 2006 but they had a special menu..

We are doing it on the Dining Plan. Yes, it is one ts meal and you get the appetizer and it's worth $32.95. So, a good deal on DP! I was under the impression it was a special menu with a couple of choices of appetizer, entree, desert?? But, I've never been to Mama Melrose so don't know if it's the same!

I can also confirm. We ate at Mama Melrose in January on the DDP with the Fantasmic package and were allowed to order appetizers at no additional cost. We are going back in September and have reserved it again. Unfortunately, we likely won't use our Fantasmic tickets as the show terrified our four year old last time. The only down side I see to booking the Fantasmic package is it seems the dinner reservations are earlier in the day.

Can you book a Fantasmic or Illusions dinner pkg when you call and make your ADR 180 days ahead? i had read in an older Birnbaum book (2006) that the dinner pkg res. needs to be made in person and I became very confused. Any help is appreciated! TIA!

Fantasmic dinner packages can be booked just like any other adr. Only difference is they take a credit card to secure the reservation. If you do not show up or cancel within 48 hrs of dining adr they charge your credit card.

Which I think is great because it cuts down on people booking multiple reservations for the same night.

Fabulous! Thank you for the info. I was hoping to make an ADR for the Fantasmic dinner pkg to celebrate our last day at WDW. I can def. understand the need for a cc to reserve. Makes sense to me!

Alot of times we split meals (we dont do this with a buffet), but could we split here for fantasmic dinner package. (we are a party of 2)?
