Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood & Vine

We plan on eating dinner at Hollywood & Vine on our next trip. We are NOT on the dining plan. Do the prices for the dinner package different? Or is it the same pricing if you just went there to eat? Just wondering why they ask for credit card information when booking an ADR.

Because the Fantasmic package is very popular, the number offered is limited, and they want to help ensure that guests who book the package will cancel it if they decide not to go, instead of just not showing up. The credit card guarantee means that if the guests don't cancel within the given cancellation period and don't show up, they'll be charged a "no-show" fee per person (I think it's $10 per person for the package).
