I have a 5:15 reservation for H&V for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. The show that night is at 7:30. Will this give me enough time to eat and get over to the show on time to get my reserved seating?

It depends a little on whether the restaurant is running behind schedule and how fast you eat. For a buffet, I typically allow about 60-75 minutes to dine. So, if your seated on time, I would think you'll be finishing up around 6:30 pm, which gives you about an hour to get over to Fantasmic.

I have the exact same timing as you (H&V buffet). It would seem enough time to account for a bit of delay in seating, eating and then heading over (but am not talking from experience). Which restaurant did you book?

I'm booked at H&V as well. I was thinking it was enough time but I've never been to Disney so I don't know how common it is to have a delay in seating. There is a reservation that day for 4:35 so I'm debating on switching my reservation just to be safe. I'm thinking normally it would be plenty of time but it would be just my luck to be delayed, lol!

I've never been to Disney but I'm assuming an hour is plenty of time to get to Fantasmic?? Thanks for the info :)

Disney recommends getting to the Fantasmic theater at least 45-minutes in advance and some folks get there way before that. It largely depends on how "prime" a seat you want. With reserved seating, a hour is probably fine to get a good seat (my family usually aims for between 30-45 minutes in advance). Just note that if you cut it close (e.g., 15 minutes), you might find that they've already opened up the reserved seating area to everyone (they do that around the 15-minute mark).

I'm thinking I should take the earlier reservation just so I don't have to worry, thanks :)
