Ya I'm getting the same thing now. No dessert party which makes me sad but I'll just book a RBT so I have something in case I can't get BB. Thanks!

I'm curious about the option to pay $15 more to dine at River Belle Terrace and watch the show from your table for the 8:00 show. How would the view be from that area? I am guessing not as good as from one of the reserved seating sections in front of the RoA?

It says on the site that the 8:00 reservations are only bookable on the phone (From the website: Please note that the viewing area is separate from the restaurant location. If you would like to upgrade to premium 8:00 PM seating, you can enjoy your 3-course dinner and stay at your seat to watch the first performance of Fantasmic! from the outside patio (where you’ll be seated).This is an additional $15. Reservations can only be made for the dining package with premium 8:00 PM seating at the restaurant or by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463 between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Pacific Time daily). I am tempted to change my reservation to that, but not if the view would be obstructed.

I'm looking at August and it says my group is too big (7) for River Belle and to call for Blue Bayou. I think I'll call in the morning. And try to break up our group for a reservation tonight. Do I need to include infants in my head count?

I don't even know where that restaurant is. Wonder if it'd be worth it on premiere day just to be out of the mess.

This is so tempting!! I'd hope that for the extra cost the view would be decent.

Thank you SO Much! I was also able to snag a River Belle Terrace Reservation!

They are now taking reservations for that area as an 8:00 pm Fantasmic dining package with a $15 upcharge from the regular dining package that gives you a pass to the viewing area. I was wondering how the view would be and if we should do that- sounds like we are better off in the regular dining package viewing area.

Thank you so much!!! I was searching the site as soon as I got the alert and I couldn't find it anywhere! I just converted our River Belle Terrace reservation into the Fantasmic dining package. I got an error message the first three times but kept hitting reserve and it got confirmed the fourth time. Going to try to convert our Blue Bayou reservation now. Thank you again! I love the Dis!!!

Going to keep an eye on this! Will need a dining package sometime between 16-17 Sept, those are not available yet so will monitor.

I was getting weird results when testing just then... RBT was saying "party too big" when I was searching for a party of 6!! and BB wasn't having a bar of it at all.

River Belle seems to be the only one available right now. It just says to call to book for Blue Bayou and Hungry Bear but hopefully that changes. Post back if you have better luck than me!!

No openings for Blue Bayou the entire time we are there. Do they generally let you switch an existing reservation over?!

I think the BB openings just aren't active yet. Hungry Bear is the same, no openings. I can't see them both being full already so I'm thinking they'll be active online in the morning or you could try calling to book in the morning.
