Fantasmic DHS or F&W Epcot?

I'm doing some last minute tweaking to our November trip, and I'm looking for a little advice. We were originally planning on doing DHS on 11/6 for Fantasmic, but after reading recent posts on crowd levels, I am questioning if we should do that. The other option I have been considering is doing Epcot on 11/6 instead, and park hopping over to DHS for just Fantasmic. My only issue with that is I had been trying to avoid Epcot on the weekend due to F&W. So my question is this: Which has a larger impact on crowds...F&W at Epcot, or Fantasmic at DHS?
:confused3

They will be pretty close but I would avoid the F! day. Food and Wine only crowds the WS part of Epcot, the rest of the park is not nearly as bad. You could hit F&W earlier in the day for lunch and avoid some of the crowds as well. If you have another day to visit Epcot also that would be ideal that way you would have plenty of time for everything both FW and WS including sampling some of the food and taking your time thru the countries.

If you want to see F!, plan to be at DHS at least 90 minutes before the start of the show. However, if you could care less about F! and can go to DHS on a non-F! day, then go to Epcot. As many others have noted, WS is busier on the weekends due to F&W, but if that is what you'd prefer, go for it.

We will be doing Epcot again later in the week, so we can do the F&W stuff then. If it will mostly be WS that is busy, I've got no problem with hitting Epcot on Sunday. And yes, Fantasmic is important to us, and a must-see. We haven't been to WDW since the early 00's, and it was shocking to hear how little Fantasmic is shown now. But thanks for the heads-up on when to arrive. We will leave plenty of time to make it early. I just don't want to deal with the crowds that are reported at DHS on Fantasmic days.

Thanks!
:thumbsup2
