Thanks, hadn't seen that thread before. Are there THAT many packages sold per night? The viewing area looks huge.

Why check in so early? Aren't all the seats in the package good ones?

There are 3 rows of seats and they are the fold-out chairs (not stadium seating). So, first row, you don't have anyone in front of you and last row, you can stand/crouch on chairs (or stand up) without blocking anyone. 2nd row, you're kind of stuck. So if you have a really tall person in front of you, it's "oh well"

You pay when you book on the phone. Then take your confirmation # to City Hall to get the "tickets" and bring those with you to check in at the Fantasmic line.

Actually in some parts there are more than three rows. I was in row three, then there was an aisle behind me, and then another row of seats right in front of a metal railing.

Maybe they add a row when they have more than 60 seats sold. I'm pretty sure they've had more than 3 rows a couple times when we've been there, too.

That happened last time we went, they put two chairs for our kids on the steps, which actually gave them pretty unobstructed views.

I just bought my Fantasmic Dessert Seating tickets last week and was told by the CM on the phone that, since we're staying at the Disneyland Hotel, we can get our tickets at the lobby desk (maybe concierge desk).

I think we are going to splurge and try this when we go in Nov!!! I'm a chocolate & cheese kind of gal!!
