Fantasmic isn't on the calendar at all for February or March, which is leading to speculation about why. Has it just not been added yet, or is it going dark for an extended time?

While I was initially skeptical, I checked Disney Dining to see if I could theoretically book a Fantasmic Dining Package in February, I couldn't book anything past January 31st. February is totally grayed out and we are in the 180 day mark for the first half of that month. So if anything, this is a bit curious.

Hope it will be back up in May 2016! Since we have been there before but our kids were too tired to stay and see Fantasmic it is one of the main reasons we are returning to HS. With rumors of them possibly not having SWW this would be a real let down. So hard to make plans when Disney seems to be in constant construction.

It could also just be a glitch. I believe TSMM FP+ not being available turned out to be a glitch. People were eventually able to book the FPs.

They left EMH off the January calendar when it was first released. There was a lot of speculation that they were cutting the benefit, but then they updated the calendar. This could be a very similar issue.

This is me, too. We were finally going to do F!

I just would like to know before our 180 day that way I could make plans on going to another park instead if it will not be available. may have to make double ADR"s just in case

I would be all for the permanent shuttering or a complete redo of Fantasmic. Biggest waste of space at Walt Disney World. Although it does a good job of soaking up a few thousand people so the Osborne Spectacle of Lights isn't quite so crowded for about 45 minutes.

Aren't they supposed to be doing a projector upgrade? Maybe they're just down for a few days. Seems silly to shut it down after investing in new equipment.

That has already been done.
Less than a month ago, too.
And, at the same time, they re-edited the "bubble section" to include Frozen scenes.

These new upgrades being added speaks loudly that they would not be shutting down the show.

I would have to agree!! Great!!

Does anybody know what parts they took out of the bubble scenes? I'm glad the clarity of the projections were updated, they needed it; but more Frozen?

Nobody has said that they took anything out of the sequence.
