Fantasmic... Can't get the Dinner package... advice appreciated

I can't seem to get the fantasmic package either for december. Last time I was there in March my son actually wanted to see the show but we didn't get there early enough and had standing room only "seating" and we ended up leaving because we couldn't see anything. I promised him next time we'd go so I better get my butt in line early. There is only one showing while we are down there.

I'm in the same boat--we'll be at WDW 11/22 - 11/29 and Fantasmic is only playing 11/23, 11/25 and 11/26. NO Fantasmic dining packages available.

We did the package on our last visit and while we were glad to have the reserved seating, the seats were far to the right. Certainly not the optimal seating area.

I plan on avoiding DHS on those days and JUST going for Fantasmic (we have Hoppers). I guess we're just going to have to plan to get there 60-90 minutes before the show and hanging out there.

You can go in and sit down and wait. I think they let you in 90 min before showtime. Its the best show ever!

I did not know this. Really good news. I can sit with the best of 'em because I have to use a scooter but I wasn't looking forward to trying to convince my DH to stand for an hour.
