Fantasmic buffet question

Sorry to post this but I couldn't get any of the links to work! I wanted to know which is better - the balcony, or the premium seating. Also, can you see the fireworks from the balcony. I need to book my tickets soon so I would GREATLY appreciate any advice from all you veterans out there!!!!!

We reserved the balcony seating...it just seems to make sense that you can see better the higher up you are. It does cost more, but I think it will be worth it. The CM with whom I booked the reservation told me to be sure and stay there for the fireworks. So, it sounds like this will be a good deal!

Thanks a lot Justmestace! I had another question. If I leave the park around 12 and get my hand stamped to come back around 3, will they let me back in?????

Of course!! That's why they do the hand stamp. And it won't wash off easily, either. We've gone swimming, and still not had it wash off. You'd have to really scrub to get it off.
Do you have the park-hopper ticket? With that, you can go back and forth between the 2 parks as many times as you want to all day long!

I have the premium park hopper pass from AAA so I can hop, but I was just afraid that they wouldn't let me back in if they "close the gates". I will be visiting Dec. 27th-Dec. 30th. The parks are going to be CRAZY and I want to be able to leave for a few hours to take a break. I can't wait to go but I am trying to have a plan so that the crowds don't get to me!!!

If they "close the gates" then you will not be garenteed to be let back in. If you are afraid that this may happen I would not leave.

We will be there Dec. 31 for NYE and we will NOT be leaving the park that day for fear of not being let back in. It is going to make for a very long day.

Sorry....guess I've never been there when they "closed the gates". We must have been really lucky all these years.
Then again, we've not been there for NYE, and we leave a few days before Christmas. Even in the summer, though....I guess we just have been lucky. Sorry if I steered you wrong!

When DH & DS did the Fantasmic buffet last summer, there was enough time between the end of Fantasmic and the beginning of the fireworks to run to the restroom & get back just in time. There are no restrooms up there; they send you to the potties in New Orleans square that are over near the train station.
