Fantasmic/Brown Derby Package

We booked it a few months ago for the dinner/show package but our dinner time was for 3:50 . Based on what I've been reading here, everyone said when you get closer, call up to move the time up. Well I've been trying for two weeks now and my trip is in a month. The operators keep telling me the spots are all taken and I keep telling them that when I called two weeks ago the Disney operators told me to try back after the 1st. So what am I doinng wrong as I know none of us will want to eat dinner at 3:50.

You're not doing anything wrong ... it's just a very busy time of year. You may not be able to move the ressie up to a different time, so you might want to plan that day as a late breakfast / early dinner day and then just have some popcorn at Fantasmic! if you're hungry at showtime.
