Fantasmic-Attraction Wait Time-What is your Worst? Other Questions....

We usually go about an 1 1/2 before showtime. The theater must open up sometime before this as we haven't experienced the "cattle herd". After we have scored our seats near the middle and on an aisle, but not the bottom 10 rows (avoids the water splashing at the show) we take turns going for food.

You can buy some food at the stands in the theater, but I like to go down to the Sunset ranch area and get a footlong with chili/cheese. There are also turkey legs, pizza, ice cream etc. Then stroll back to your saved seats with your food and save a seat for the next couple of folks in your party to get food. This always *eats* up most the time until the show. (We are always careful to throw away the containers, I hate it when people leave their trash!)

We like this show and go everytime we are at WDW, however, we don't repeat it every night like we do with Wishes or Illuminations.

Wow, we had to wait 2 and a half hours for Space Mountain...ate up alot of our time.

We did the dinner package, and thought the show was really good. I don't think we'll be able to fit it in on our next trip, but we'd definitely do the dinner package if we were going to Fantasmic.

Just be careful if you are planning for the second show in the summer. After reading the boards, I felt confident on catching the second show without the dinner package. As described above, I won't do that again. I don't know if it was an unusual experience, but during the first week of August, the 2nd Fantasmic showing was packed, as well as the standing section.......maybe some storms had cancelled previous shows during the week.

Have fun though.........it's our favorite Disney show. It really is worth it.
