Fantasmic! AP viewing nights

what does this special viewing consist of? do you just see the show and leave or you get to do other things????

we are premium passholders and did NOT get an email - as a matter of fact i dont get any email from Disney - checked my spam folder too - nothing! I told the CM yesterday and she did not have an answer for it - she said we have your email on the acct don't know why you are not receiving it.

does anyone knwo what should do about that?

if it were not for DIS Board i would not have known about this SO thank YOU all so much for the info you post here :-)))

I'm signed up for the 14th!!

Because I live far enough away, they made an "exception" and I was able to book over the phone.

He did confirm that I had a Premium or Premier pass.

I have a premium pass and I never got an email yet my husband did
so is he supposed to go see it by him self?

Just thought I would relate my findings. I called this morning and was told that the email went out to premium AP holders yesterday and that Deluxe holders would receive their email in the next few days and then CA holders, etc. I was told I did have to wait until we received the email, but I would guess that this would depend on the cast member that you get while playing phone roulette.

If you are a premium passholder, I'd give them a call and 1) check if they have your correct email on file and that you have email listed as your primary contact methodology and 2) see if you can register anyway since it has gone out to that level of passholder.

I did also confirm that you would be able to confirm over the phone if there was a travel distance issue to visiting the box office.

Good luck to everyone and see you on the 21st if it is still available once they get to us lowly deluxe passholders.

First come first served, and when they run out that is it -- that is what he told me.

She said I had to wait until they opened it for Delxue AP. I asked when that was and she said I had to wait for the email.

I wonder if Disney is anxious because the last AP event had very weak attendance. It sounds like they are feeling things out, and going slowly to build demand.

OMG! Dont bother calling the AP line for this special event unless your pass is active!!! I just spent over a half hour on the phone to a supervisor to try and get him to let me go to the event but he told me no way because my AP is not active yet. He told me pretty much the only way we could go now is to have someone else bring us as their 3 guests that you can get in the event. I told him we live in WA and we cannot activate tell we get there on May 20th but he wont do anything to help us....I am really sad that we paid what we paid for the passes and now cant go to the event because we cant make it to the ticket window to pickup the passes

So if anyone has any room in their 3 guest spots we are only 2 people and want to go May 21 or 22?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for reading my rant :rotfl:

Got the email and because we are 6 hours away, they put us on the exception list.

K, so, here's what we have so far...

If you have an active premium annual pass you can get the event tickets whether or not you received an email. You can bring up to three guests, and they have to have an active annual pass, but it doesn't matter which level they have.

You have to RSVP to go to the event.

You have to RSVP in person, BUT if you live farther away you can RSVP over the phone. I know someone who did not receive an email who RSVP'd over the phone. I know people who have RSVP'd in person and they did not receive an email.

The CM at the ticket booth told me that they are not checking to see if people received an email, so any Premium APer can get the voucher to come back.

The voucher does say the date that you will go, and according to the CM you will need to present it, or cannot get in.

Those who have deluxe APs cannot RSVP until those emails go out to those who have that level of annual passes.

In my experience, over the phone they told me that only those who received an email could get the voucher, and they confirmed that I did receive an email, and they confirmed the email it was sent to. I found it in my spam email. So, they do show it in their systems. Even though I was told over the phone that only those that received the emails could get the vouchers, the CMs in person told me a different story.

Once they run out of their allotted number, they will not admit anyone else.

I hope the numbers are similar to the other AP events. It was so much fun being in the park at that time.

I am hoping (once they open it to Deluxe AP holders) to get May 21 or 22. I am going solo, so you can be my 2+. I will let you know if I can get in.

I know people with SoCal passes that have already RSVP'd in person. So it seems like they aren't limiting it to Premium passes. Maybe that's just the order they are doing the emails....:confused3

I have called three times this morning (hoping it would open up for Deluxe) and I can't get an RSVP. They told me that Deluxe was next and the rest after.

I guess the people at the ticket booths can do it, but you can't get an RSVP on the phone.

The Deluxe email are currently going out. A friend received one this morning.

I keep checking my email and I haven't gotten one yet. I even called and confirmed that they have my correct email. So frusterating:confused:!!! Maybe they are emailing only those in the California area? Any other Deluxe holders not in California got an email?

I am planning to RSVP in person on Sunday. We may have one add'l "ticket" available as I don't think grammy/poppy would be able to stay up that late. I'll see what dates are available (if any) when we get there.

I certainly hope that everyone who wants to go is able to! We went to the AP event for the Soundsational Parade and had a blast! I have a great photo of my DH and DD standing in front of a lit-up Small World with absolutely no one around! I wonder if they will be doing any special food items like they did with SP event?

I just called again and the CM told me that he has emailed the "Leads" and they will call me if and let me know if I am "allowed" to RSVP by phone.

I told the CM that I know someone who has RSVP'd by phone so why can't I. He said if it's not on Disneyland.com that information is incorrect. I said show me where the info on Disneyland.com is. He said it's all in the email (which I still haven't got).

So frusterating!! Should I keep calling back until I get someone who will let me RSVP by phone???

I guess this is another CM's not all having the correct info. I hope by the time they figure out I am "allowed" to RSVP by phone, the dates I want are still available.

Sorry for my ranting. I just really want to go. I will have a great time whether or not I can go.

I am a deluxe AP holder and I got our e-mail today!! I reserved our spots!! YIPPEE!! I called the AP number and made our ressies over the phone because we are all the way in AZ. This is our first AP event and I am so excited!!

Thank you so much! Let me know what happens as I know how difficult things can be with these special events :goodvibes

If you do happen to get another ticket I would love to go and would be happy to pay any shipping costs to send it up to Washington state....let me know if this would work for you :)

Okay. So I called again and finally got someone who knew what was going on. He said that he had to send an email to to the planners and they will email me letting me know if the date is available. THis could take a couple of days. CM's do not have access to the list. He said that he has RSVP'd several people this way.

This is what the previous CM might have done as well but he said that they will call me and let me know if I can register by phone....so I might have two requests. If only he had phrased it a different way I might not have had my undies in a bunch;)

So what happens is I will be sent an email confirming if my date is available (or not). This is what I need to bring to the ticket booth on the day after 12pm. All people have to be present at this time to show their AP's and get the wrist bands.

He also mentioned that there will be special food items available from 4pm and the west side of DL will have select rides and shops open until 1am. He did not have a list of which rides/shops will be open.
