We did it when we visited 3/19 - 3/25.

It was said on these boards that you had to pay a $10 fee to use it, we did not have to pay the fee. Whether this was a mistake by the CM's, I dont know.

We told the hostess at the door that we were on the MYW plan and had the Fantasmic package. She put the blue Fantasmic ticket inside our servers form and gave it to our server.

When the server came to take our order, we told the server that we were on the MYW paln and had the Fantasmic package, she said OK, and left the blue Fantasmic ticket with us.

That was that. We paid with the room card and signed the bill and left. No extra fee.

Anyone else? I am really hoping to not have to pay for this out of pocket. It doesn't make any sense that it wouldn't be included. If the restaurant is on the list, then it should be included. There aren't any restrictions about it listed on the brochure. But what do I know? LOL

I just called Disney to ask about this. The CM (Antonia) informed me that you can use the plan for the Fantasmic dinner package, but then proceeded to misinform me that if we will be able to view the Fantasmic Dinner show from Mama Melrose's, H&V, or HBD. I said, "How could I see the show from the restaurant? My DINNER SHOW ressie is at 4:30 and when I called to make the PS, I was told that the FDP ressies are only available at the earlier time slots." She said, "You CAN see the show from those restaurants. But the Dinner Package with the special passes for seating is NOT included in the plan because that is a special show that costs extra" OMGosh she had no CLUE. I guess I'll just call back and try to get a different CM. How frustrating. The thing that bugs me is if I hadn't known that she was wrong in the first place, I would have never asked for clarification. Misinformation is a dangerous thing!

Awhile ago Keishashadow posted they were able to use it at H&V with a $10 surcharge. It seems there has only been success at H&V with the dining plan. I remember another post where someone tried at MM & couldn't. I'm going with H&V early in the week & try to use it.

We did the Fantasmic dinner pckg at H&V this past Thursday night. We were able to use our Disney Dining Plan with no problems at all. We didn't have to pay the $10 surcharge either.

OMG! I can not believe she told you that. I feel bad for the people going on a disney vacation who are told this and do not know any better. It could really mess up a days worth of plans.

I have a PS in JUne for Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic. We have the MYW dining plan. Going by the info I am wondering if I should change to H& V or just take the chance that it may change? Decisions, Decisions...If anything when we go, I will tell them we have MYW maybe I'll get lucky...

i was told by a concierge that the $10 'surcharge' is BS and perhaps the CM was pocketing the $$ !!
