Hi,

I the past I know that during peak times Disney runs two firework shows. Does anyone remember the times? Do they show Fantasmic after the second show?

We will by @DL for Christmas and since the crowds could be huge I'm trying to plan like I would for a WDW vacation.

Thanks
Laurie ;)

Last year at Christmas:
MSEP at 8:30 pm
Fantasmic! at 9:00pm
Fireworks at 9:30
Fantasmic! at 10:00pm

I think! LOL
I know this weekend the fireworks were at 8:25pm

During peak times I always make sure and do the late show of Fantasmic! Crowds are a bit smaller

If it's a night when they run two Fantasmic's, then the schedule will be this:

Fantasmic 9:00
Fireworks 9:25
Fantasmic 10:30

Oh, forgot to mention. I wouldn't hold out too much hope for Fantasmic happening this Christmas season. They can't run it without the Columbia and they're still doing a ton of work on the Columbia. Check out miceage or mouseplanet for rehab photos of the Columbia.

I've heard the Columbia should be finished mid-Dec. I've never seen 2 fireworks shows at DL, but they do 2 Fantasmics peak season.

I'm going to attempt to get the balcon/buffet tickets for the early show. I didn't know about them needing the Columbia for the show. I hope the refurb is done by mid Dec. If not I will save myself a small fortune for the tickets ha ha ha. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Thans all. :)

Yes, the Columbia is very important for the DL Fantasmic--in fact it's involved in what I think is the best part of the show. The sequence the Columbia is used in is 2 and a half minutes long and there's just no other way they could properly do this particular sequence other than using the Columbia.

I can't wait. Hope I'm able to get tickets. I can't believe the tickets are 49 dollars a person. WOW!!!

Is it possible to request the first row of seats or do they place people in the order of tickets bought?

From what people have said, it's in the order they were bought.

$49!?!?!?!

Wow.... I could not bring myself to pay that!!!

One of my best friends from High School has worked there since 1982 (in the Entertainment dept.), and gets me priority seats at Tower B (where the stage manager sits) whenever we go... great stuff: Nice front/center chairs waiting fur us when we show up 5 minutes before showtime. My boys have seen this show so many times, they say the dialogue along with the show  )

I love the Columbia/Peter Pan sequence. I don't think they ever do the show w/o that ship, though they have done it without the Mark Twain @ the finale...the characters just dance all over Tom Sawyer's Island! Speaking on that...the MGM version of Fantasmic in Orlando is waaaaaay cool with the huge set, but the Steamboat Willie 1-D prop thing is silly! :)

I know that 49.00 per person is steep. Same price for kids too, ouch!!! I'm thinking that it may be so crowded there that it might just be worth the extra $$$ to have a spot saved for us. I've all ready started to pick u extra shifts @ work HA HA HA

That's sure nice to have a friend that works for DL. What a great job.
