FANTASMIC and FIREWORKS question??

I would just see the first Fantasmic and watch fireworks from there. No seat saving, no rushing. You might not see the non-fireworks effects but not rushing to a second 'top view' spot that late at night is worth something.

I think it's hard to 'miss' the fireworks if you're in the park, or within a half mile of it.

When the show is Remember Dreams Come True, you are right you will not miss the fireworks from NOS - at least not much of them. But with so many special effects and lasers and light effects in the hub and around the castle you will miss most of the show.

To the previous poster, I would strongly recommend you not see RDCT from NOS after Fantasmic 9PM show. See it from the hub and go to the late Fantatsmic. Totally different experience and it was designed to be seen from the hub.

Why do they encourage the first F! guests to stay and watch it from their F! seats if it was designed to be seen from the hub? I've never seen it from the hub. I thought it was fireworks and to hang out at the castle with the crowd would be silly.

I think the 2nd F! show is the way to go, too, but if the kids (or adults) are tired, sometimes it's good to just sit for a few hours, watch 2 shows, then head out. Or walk up to F! 15 minutes before showtime. I've sat there for hours before and almost invariably we wind up next to, or even behind, someone who squishes in at the last minute.

RDCT is one of four fireworks shows at DL and the one currently showing. I would give different advice for the summer Magical fireworks - not worth it to impact F! viewing in order to see it from the hub. Seeing Magical from NOS is fine IMO. And once Fantasmic #1 is done then it is too late to see the fireworks in the hub anyways. So when CMs "encourage" people to stay it is not like they are discouraging you from going to the hub. It is too late by then.

Thanks for the info. I'd say we'll be sure to hit the hub for the RDCT on our Oct. trip but I don't think it's showing any of the Tues-Fri. nights we're there, due to the Halloween parties and school nights. We might have to stay Sat. night, too. I hate to NOT see F! while there, as well. Would 10/13 be RDCT?

We will be at DLR in 1 week. WOOT WOOT!! I have been many times, but (gasp) I have never seen F!........So, we will be there Wed-Fri. So, FRIDAY is the ONLY time we have to see F!

My question is, I need to get a seat/place to see F! for the 9pm show, then do we hurry over near the castle to see the fireworks right after, or do we have an ok place to watch the fireworks where we will be sitting for the F! show??????

You CANNOT make it from F! to the castle before the fireworks start, the times have been designed to make this impossible for guest control purposes.

If you want to see the fireworks from the hub and F! in the same night, you will need to see the second show of F!.

This is great info. Thanks for sharing. We're going in Nov and I'm not sure there will be 2 F! Shows while we're there. As it gets closer we'll find out. If possible, I'd like to see Dreams from the left side of the hub, the scoot over to the seating area for F!. We'll see if I can convince my traveling companions
