Is the fantasmic show worth seeing and do you recommend getting the priority seating for dinner with it also? We were thinking of doing the Hollywood and Vine restaurant if we did this. Just wanted to know what everyones thoughts were and if it is worth booking in advance. Thanks!!!! :earsgirl:

YES...go see it! I have never seen it with a dinner package included, so I can not give you info. on that, but you must see it!

Post on the dining boards for the dinner package question!

Fantasmic! is on our must do list every trip--it is DH's favorite show!! We have never done the dining package so I can't help you with that but I just wanted to tell you to definitelyl make time to see it.

Although it is OUR least favorite of the night time shows, you should really see it once and decide for yourself. It's definitely worth it. It's my brothers favorite thing at Disney and a favorite for lots of people. When we do go, we always have used the package. We've tried all the restaurants for the package and feel Hollywood and Vine is the best meal.

It's not my favorite night, show SIMPLY becuase I love fireworks! However, quality and pure entertainment wise, it is by far the best night show at Disney. It is amazing. You HAVE to see it.

Yes, go see it..it's a good show..I like the ending!

I'd do the Fantasmic package if you are going when it's crowded. We've gone in the fall & didn't need to do the package. H&V is a huge buffet so there is something for everyone..enjoy!

I second that opinion completely. If you're planning on having dinner "out" anyway that night, you should definitely book the Fantasmic dinner package. It can save you 2 hours of wait time before the show.

Fantismic is a must see!!!!
We usually eat at a sit down resturant for lunch and get counter service for dinner and eat the counter service while we are waiting for the show.
We've always gone 1 hour before the show and have always gotten a good seat.

YES and YES!!!!!
If you are going to have dinner at MGM you might as well take advantage of the dinner pkg. We really like the buffet at Hollywood & Vine. So nice no to have to wait in line to get seats to the show. We usually have dinner go ride a few more rides then use our tickets to get in the back entrance.

Fantasmic is definitely worth seeing!! Its a great show!!
We ourselves have never done the dining package with it-just never saw the need. We usually go about 30-45 minutes before th show with a snack and we are fine-most seats are good so dont worry about that!

Fantasmic! is certainly worth seeing. As for the package, depends on the time of year you go. During off season, it's not necessary.

Fantasmic is WONDERFUL & I HIGHLY recommend it!
I would do the dinner package only if you are concerned that you are going when tons of people are. The theater is pretty big and can hold quite a few people.

Definately go to see it. While it's not my favorite (by far - nothing tops the Spectro/Wishes combo, it's unbeatable) it's worth seeing. Do the dining package as well because it's so much less stressful to know that you're going to be able to sit down and have a nice meal and then go right in to see Fantasmic and not have to wait in line and risk not even getting a seat.

Yes go see it. I enjoyed it and my kids did as well.

Fun for the whole family!! And if you are going during busy season the dinner package is great. The reserved seating isn't the best but it beats 2 hours in line!

I would say it was a firm favourite with my family. We were there last month and did the Hollywood and Vine package. The buffet was very good and the show was great. :goodvibes

To get a reasonable dining time (eg we went for a PS of 6.00pm) I think you may have to wait until about 30 days beforehand to call. It could be worhtwhile making a PS for whatever is available and then calling back at around 30 to 25 days before your required date to see if there are better times.:wizard:

It wasn't that busy when we were there but I was still glad we booked, it meant that we could relax and enjoy our day.

Regards
Rosie
