Fantasia Ice Cream

It is back and available! I didn't give in and eat it all up. I did have two scoops and it was pretty good. Not as good as when I was a kid (not enough pistachio and banana, mostly strawberry) but nice and refreshing on a hot day. I would get it again. They had signs on the counters to let guests know it was in stock.

You are welcome! I knew it was going to be a great day when I did not get Jar Jar twice in a row on Star Tours and I was picked as the rebel spy (first time). We have had him 80/100 times. I pressed my luck and checked for fantasia ice cream and was shocked!!!

Carnation used to make is Special for Disneyland back in the 70's if not before....
Its a mixture of flavors.... its been years since it was available.
I want to say it has Cherry, Banana, and Pistachio in it.......

Maybe somebody can help my memory. Dreyer's took over and the flavor went away.
Very Happy its back! My childhood memories were made of this treat!

It was available in the 80s and I believe the early 90s possibly too. They had it in the Carnation Gardens where bands used to perform and people used to dance. It was amazing. Then the licensing changed and Carnation was no longer the official ice cream vendor.

The ice cream doesn't taste the same (not as creamy but more icy in my opinion) but it is stilll good. I remember having my $50 AP and stopping for Fantasia ice cream when I was still in high school!!
