Fantasia Ice Cream???

Okay this is a bit of an odd post.

Does anybody remember "Fantasia Ice Cream?" My husband had it a few years back at Disneyland and he is always on the hunt for it when we are in the parks. He swears it is the best.

He has been missing it a lot lately.

BlueBayou's hubby here. Yes, I think it was banana, black cherry and pistachio. I had some spumoni ice cream at the Old Spaghetti Factory yesterday and it reminded me of Fantasia Ice Cream.

The last time I had it was at Disneyland on our way out from a trip in Dec. 2001. The next time we went back, it was gone from Disneyland. On our last night at DCA that trip, they weren't letting anybody into Burr-bank Ice Cream, but the guy at the door told me they had Fantasia Ice Cream. The last time we went last December, nobody had it, but they must get asked a lot, because everytime I did ask, I got rolled eyes and a look like they hear that question a lot.

I tried it in 2003 at the Carnation Cafe. I thought that I heard that it was no longer around. Maybe it's a seasonal item now?
