Fantasia 2009 New Year's Eve At Epcot

Please let me know if you have any comments about this event. I am thinking about making a reservation for it....FANTASIA 2009 - NEW YEAR'S EVE AT EPCOT

Epcot's World Show Place Pavilion will again be hosting a buffet dinner this New Year's Eve. The theme is Fanastia 2009 and the restaurant will feature theming for these classic Disney movies. Background music will be provided.

I am interested in this too. When I called to see if I could get a reservation at ANY restaurant in EPCOT at any time, she just spouted off that this was the only thing available. I'm not sure whether she was just promoting this because not too many people have booked or what. Not sure if it would be worth the $$.

We have reservations for New Years Eve at 6 pm. When I called they said they had alot of space available. We have done similar events held at Epcot for the Flower and Garden and Food and Wine Festival and had very wonderful experiences so we thought we would give this a try. Fireworks are at 740 and 1140 that evening so make sure you plan your reservation around the firework schedule.

We have ressies there at 5:30 and I'm a little leery. $55 pp is alot considering my DH and dd10 insist there is nothing on there that they like .

I just came back onto the boards to see if anything else on the board caught my eye and possibly changed my mind about NYE. I'm curious about opinions also. I started a thread last week and didn't get any responses.
