Fanta Melon Frosty sources?

The Fanta Melon Frosty soda at Club Cool in Epcot is one of my favorite soda flavors ever. I know it is marketed outside the U.S., but would love to be able to have it at home.

Basically, everyplace I have found online (Amazon, eBay, jbox.com, napajapan.com) charges $3.50-$5.00 for a half-liter bottle, and another $7.50-$10.00 per bottle to ship. I understand that soda bottles are pretty heavy, and they are coming all the way from Japan, but still.

Any other suggestions that might not be so expensive? I have a trip to Seattle planned in October, and I’ve seen a few reddits suggesting my best bet is to try Japanese grocery stores while in the area.

Please and thank you!

You may be able to find it in Japanese markets in Seattle. I have never seen it in any of the Asian markets in my town, but I'm in the Midwest. It might be easier to find on the west coast.

If you can't find it, melon Ramune has a similar flavor and can be found at every Asian market.

Thanks! I live in New Orleans; not a sizeable Asian population so, like you, not a ton of Japanese grocery stores. At least, not like the West Coast.

World Market carries melon ramune. It’s close, but not quite the same.

I'm glad its not just me. I have to go to Club Cool several times during a Disney trip and get my lovely melon Fanta. I think its delicious. The funny thing is I am seeing the Pineapple one (my 2nd fav) in Disney resorts in bottles now and in the coke freestyle machines, but still no melon as of yet...

I don't care for Melon Frosty, but I love Bibo and wish I could get it easily. I feel your pain!

My personal favorite Fanta flavor is Shokata, and that's impossible to find, too.

I sometimes wonder about the countries where Club Cool claims certain sodas are from. When DH worked, he traveled internationally and often he'd be in a country where a certain flavor was supposedly from. I especially remember, in China, when I sent him in search of the watermelon soda. No one he asked had ever heard of it, and he couldn't find it anywhere. Same thing happened in other countries (yes, even the supposed home of Beverly).

A lot of the drinks are regional. Just because you can't find them where you are doesn't mean that they don't exist.

That's my assumption as well. While you can find Coke or Pepsi all over the US (and elsewhere) trying to find Mellow Yellow or Mr. Pibb isn't nearly as easy in a lot of areas.

Club Cool is always on our itinerary. If Beverly was available locally, I would always have a bottle in the fridge.

Sometimes I want to strap on a hydration backpack and see just how much Melon Frosty I can siphon off before I get caught.

Doesn’t Club Cool state that Melon Frosty is big in Thailand, not China?
She's talking about the Smart Watermelon soda. It's different than the Fanta Melon Frosty.

BTW @Simba's Mom, I don't know where your husband was in China, but I know you could find it in Guangzhou at one time.

This wasn't the Melon Frosty, the watermelon soda is something that hasn't been around for a few years.

We just got back from a trip to Tokyo and my son was in heaven because we could find melon frosty in most of the convenience stores (and it was inexpensive). Sorry I can’t help OP, I’ve never seen it anywhere else.

It says Thailand at club cool...also my favorite.

I love Fanta melon frosty. We ate at Skipper canteen in part so we could order it lol. We also got it at the rooftop bar at the Coca Cola store in Disney’s springs. I wish I could find it here in ohio

Sorry for the necro, but for those Fanta Melon Frosty lovers, I may have found a suitable Plan B until Club Cool is relocated/reopened in Epcot:

Is it exactly the same? No. But it’s close enough, and a far cry closer than watermelon ramune, IMO.

It is on the menu at the Skipper Canteen. My son was in heaven at that realization!

Also in the Coca-Cola store in Disney Springs.

There was just something about getting it at Club Cool, though (aside from being free). Can’t put my finger on it.
