fans at wal mart!

I found some of thse little hand held fans with a clip on them for .50 cents at wal mart. they also had the mister fans for about $2.50. I got 2 to use labor day weekend!

Great deal ! The little hand held fans are my #1 must have in the parks item - they are lifesavers, especially at this time of year!

What section of the store did you find the fans? Our Walmart is huge and messy, so it is awful to try and find anything.

our newest walmart only had one small fan left... however, i did find water bottles with a neoperone covering and a belt loop/clip.

We were going to buy a case of bottled water and a strap for each of us at the parks.. now we wont have to.. we can reuse the plastic bottle, it stays cold... etc.

Definitely buy them before you go. We paid 10.00 each for the little personal fans and 17.00 for a misty fan! UGH!

they were in the aisle that had the room sized fans during the summertime months. Near the housewares and house cleaning supplies areas. There was alot of clearance things on the aisle with them....some summer related, some not. (including the room sized fans)!!! Good luck!!

We bought four fans at the dollar store and they were totally worthless, threw them out on the second day. They kept coming apart.

Broke down and bought the WDW misty fans. Within an hour the first one broke, no fault of the kids. DH took it back to a stand where they replaced it immediately. An hour later another one broke. Again, DH took it to a stand and the CM replaced it and said if it broke again to take it anywhere and they will replace it.

We ended up replacing about 5 fans over the course of the trip, in all 4 major parks. We didn't have to even replace the water in either of them until the last day because they would break before the water ran out! The good news, at least, for the $17x2, the kids always had a working fan!
