Fanny/waist packs

Just a quick addendum to all this. we have been a couple of times now, and I always have a small hip bag and lanyard, and when I rode Rip Ride Rockit last August, I was pulled off the ride and sent to put both in a locker. odd, since it doesn't invert, and I've worn both on all the other big coasters.

It could happen!

Perhaps it was because of Rip Ride Rockit's lap bar system? Since it goes across the lap instead of over the shoulder. That's the only thing I can think of.

We just did RRR. We were asked to push our packs to the side, but didn't need to take them off.

Currently, the Vera Bradley Travel Belt bags are either out of stock or not being carried anymore as they are not showing up on the website. I did a google search and I know what they look like so, I can find something similar.

I have to say - after two days in the parks, I am SO glad we did the fanny packs! So convenient!

I had trouble finding the vera bradley bag too. BUT...my friend just ran her first 1/2 marathon and she got one to run with. Well we got to thinking it would be perfect to use at universal because it is the size of a belt and stretches to fit a phone, key and money in!

The lockers really aren't so bad. It takes like less than five minutes to get in and out.

So do we go thru the locker line whether or not we have bags? Or do we go straight to the ride line?

Also - I am planning on having all 4 of us wear lanyard with our Express Pass in it. Will we be allowed to keep these on? How do you experienced riders handle this? I don't want to hold the kids passes in a fanny pack or in my pocket and have to take them out every time we go on a ride.

I rode FJ with a fanny pack several times but was not able to wear the fanny pack on Revenge of the Mummy at US...I had to put it into a locker there....even thought it would have fit fine.

For most rides, the locker is outside the ride, not part of the queue. Only in Forbidden Journey does everyone go into the queue before putting stuff in the locker. The lockers are located inside Hogwarts. TMs will send you in the right direction after you get in line.

You can keep your lanyards on, no problem.

There isn't a single line for lockers. The lockers are a bay and you just find an open kiosk in the bay of lockers. If there are no open kiosks you can start or stand in line then behind that particular kiosk.
