Do most of you wear fanny packs? I was thinking of getting my children fanny packs to wear so they could put a granola bar or fruit snack in there besides their camera's:)
Unless snacks aren't allowed???
If you have gotten your children fanny packs, where do you find them that fits smaller kids???

Hello-

I have had great luck finding small packs at KB Toys. They are for 2-8 yr olds (I have purchased 2 pink and purple with a butterfly on the front. I did not look for a boyish one but they may have them. I didn't find them online, just happened upon them one day in thestore. They were less that $5.00!

Good Luck!

I got DD one last year and it ended up in the backpack, she just refused to wear it. It was a child's Minnie Mouse and weighed nothing! So I normally carry everything in mine.

I usually carry DS's things in mine. He wanted a Disney one last trip, but we couldn't find one small enough.

There is a nice Coleman's kids fanny pack that even has a drink holder spot. My kids wear them some of the time. I've found that you can tye a knot in the belts of almost any fanny pack and make it kid size, just add another knot as needed. It doesn't make them uncomfortable but it is a little hard to get the knots out.

Things they carried in their fanny packs: autograph book, pens, pressed penny case, snacks and assorted other goodies. My youngest especially lugs around lots of stuff. She does tend to decide I should help carry it sometimes though.

Thanks for the great ideas!! I'll look for the coleman one if it isn't too large!
