I have determined that a fanny pack is the way to go in the parks. What would you suggest as far as size/brand/features etc that are helpful. Or, if you prefer something over a fanny pack, what and why?

My goal is to not have to worry getting on an off rides etc. but also to be able to carry essential items, including cards or something with PS numbers and itinerary.

I don't know what brand to buy, but I definitely recommend buying one. I bought mine from www.ebags.com . maybe you can check there. It is so much easier to wear one of those than to carry a bag or backpack. I know some people prefer backpacks, but to me it was just a pain.

A fanny pack is the way to go!! I ordered from gearlabs.com--they are much cheaper than ebags. I got one with a water bottle holder on one side and it worked out great!! Have a good trip!

Definitely a fannypack! I got mine from EMS (you might find the store around you, if not: www.ems.com) But, whatever brand you get, DEFINITELY opt for a fannypack!

DH and I bought big fanny packs from Mountain Sports, but most any bigger sporting goods store will have a nice selection. The ones we bought were weather resistant fabric. One has a place to hold a water bottle, but found it to be useless. We brought a frozen bottle of water, but within an hour is was thawed and warm...don't bother with it any more.

I got mine for $3.98 at Wal-Mart. I've been carrying it four or five years. When it's dirty, I throw it in the washing machine.

Everyone in our family (except our 15-year-old, who is too cool at the moment) wears a fannypack.
