We are travelling in a group with 5 adults and 2 kiddos. The kids are mine and they will be almost 5 and almost 1 at the time of our trip. We are looking at doing 1 nicer dinner while we are there. I am looking at Steak House 55, Carthay Circle, or Napa Rose. Is it kosher to bring kids to those restaurants. I should say, the older one is an adventurous eater so I am not worried about what he will eat. More worried about the atmosphere and others being bothered. My kids are pretty well behaved in restaurants as we go out a lot as a family, but I don't want to break any unwritten conventions by assuming that it is okay to bring my kids to that kind of upscale restaurant. Thoughts? Experiences?
. I have taken both of my kids to Carthay Circle and Napa Rose. The first time we ate at Napa Rose my daughter was 2 and had a complete meltdown (no nap). I quickly took her outside and walked her around the GCH and looked at the Christmas Tree etc. Once calmed down we went back in and she was fine, no other guests looked twice (at least that I noticed).
