That show gets in my nerve. Her French words are never pronuced right. It’s obviously read by an anglophone. Her behaviour is essentially based on stereotype and gets kids to follow this concept of being “fancy” aka phony.

It is annoying but they love it. They don't watch a lot of TV though so I can tolerate it occasionally. I get what you're saying about the fancy/phony behavior, but honestly my kids were already obsessed with being fancy anyway (pink, sparkles, twirly dresses, whatever). I haven't seen a change in their behavior or attitudes since watching the show. There are good messages in the show as well.

It's really not bad! Do I wish Fancy Nancy wasn't such a drama queen? Sure. Do I think my kids learn more from their day to day experiences with human beings? 100%.
