Fancy A Margarita Love - Day Two

Good view Jules, almost exactly the same as we had in August, and quite similar to ours this time.

I'd recommend the 1800 Margarita personally - my fave, and I think I've tried all of them!!

What a lovely first day. Peggy did such a great job in your room, it looks so Christmassy. I would love to see the Osborne lights, they look so magical. Pleased to hear the margarita drinking has started in earnest, yum.

Laur's princess:

We always hang out for a congress park villa as we walk to Down town disney or crossroads in the evening even if it means moving villas the next day.

I notice from your photos that people are still wearing shorts in the evening. What are the night time temperatures like in December?

Thanks for a great day's report

Susan

Great trip report Jules. Love the tree.

when we go for our last ciggie we discover Kev perched on the light.
Just showing off, knowing Kev.

I love the decorations - I would definitely use Peggy's services if we were ever at WDW over Christmas. We were in a similar spot to you in August - I loved being able to see the old treehouses from our balcony. The golf course was closed, so we never saw another human soul. The only activity was a glimpse of the water taxi going past every now and then. We couldn't see any other buildings unless we put our heads through the "porthole" on the right-hand side of the balcony. Bliss. This trip (again in Grandstand) the view wasn't as good, although it was still a golf course view. I'd be really disappointed if we ever had a car park view.

View looking straight ahead (you can just see the water taxi)

Jules, I can't imagine a Christmasier first day. The tree and decorations made your room look warm and homey. I'll be interested to see if they were stored and returned when you left for the three days at Doubletree or if you took them along or what. Decorated room + Osborne light show = A great first day of your Christmas vacation.

Debbie, Thanks for sending along your photos. The more I see of Saratoga Springs, the better I like it.

Susan, this was our first Chistmas away from our family and our cats and I was nervous about it not being Chrtismassy and homely, Peggy certainly did a fab job and made it our little home from home. As you will see in a later post I carried my tree to the DoubleTree and back again, it was just too pretty to store as I had originally intended to do. I will always be grateful to Peg she made our room beautiful and the cookies, cocoa and pixie dust were a wonderful extra touch.

A fab first day with lovely photos:thumbsup2
