Fan Question

I'm not sure if its because we live in tornado alley or what, but we sleep with a ceiling fan AND a stand fan on. I was just wondering if box fans were available from guest services while on board.

I probably wouldn't have even thought of this, but I read that "my" room is an adjoining room.

I have never heard of this, but I have only been on one cruise so far so I can't say I'm absolutly positive they don't have any. I would seriously doubt it though. Sorry

I'm with you sleeping with a fan on summer and winter - I need the white noise. You could look for a white noise machine; I found one for about $15, but didn't like the "repetitiveness" of the sounds (it was odd). Another option is to hit Wal-mart or Target and buy a $10 fan that you can leave for the next guest!

Honestly, considering I "need" a fan at home, I did fine without it on the ship - you're really tired at night and there is some constant noise - we were on Deck 9 aft so maybe the engines helped some? The first time we were Deck 6 forward and I didn't have a problem either.

Came back to add; we're in OK too! I've seen more EAS announcements on the tv in the last 3 days that I have in my 38 years of life! Of course, I've only lived here for 18 months and last spring was NOTHING here.

I'm the same with needing a fan to sleep all the time. We callled DCL before our cruise and asked about a fan and they said they were not available. We ended up putting a small one in our suitcase and I'm glad we did.

Masonpips-we are in Talihina! My husband and I both graduated from college in Tulsa. You guys sure did get hit hard by tonados this week! Last night was the first time we had a bad storm all week!
