Hello!

I am planning a trip to Disney for October and my sister and her family will also be going then. How feasible is it to get rooms close together, and how do we go about doing this? Thanks!

The easiest thing it have CRO link the 2 ressie numbers on Both ressies.

Then make sure you mention it again at Check-in.

We have had up to 4 families and have always been with-in a few rooms from each other in the past.

I always told them on the phone while making our the reservation, once I get my sister reservation # I called back and give them her reservation # having them, link both rooms, she in turn would call them and tell them the same thing.
Plus before we leave home I always write a letter to resort asking for the same thing when I write to let them know we are coming, what date and how many will be with us.

If you have 8 or more people total in your group, have Disney set you up as a grand gathering. There is no extra cost to be a GG. One of the perks is that the resort will block your rooms together before you check in.

I'll second the grand gathering. We did one last year and the rooms were right next door to eachother. My sister's view was even upgraded to put her next to us.

We had a grand gathering at Pop and we had 5 rooms in a row. Just have them link your reservations together.
