My question is now that tickets are tied to biometrics ( finger scan ) what is a family suppose to do? I know in our family the kids , some with adult tickets , don't get to hold on to their tickets. I'm not taking chance of a lost ticket . If they get mixed up will they not let you in untill you figure out who's is who's . Thanks for your input

Maybe try putting the name/initials of each family member on a ticket? I know that we've done it in the past and never had a problem :thumbsup2

Also, write down all of the ticket information (dates, number on the back, etc) and keep it in a safe place. That way, if you do happen to lose a ticket, you'll have much easier time replacing them. Good luck!

Some people have reported that the family's tickets are tied together in the system and if you mix up two tickets, you may not see a problem at all if everyone is together. You can avoid worry altogether by putting names on tickets, though.

All the tickets I have had since they started the Biometrics have had the individuals names printed on them and needed to be signed, even the one day, one park tickets.

When we went a year ago I'm sure I didn't have them in the same order each time. Only once did they have a problem and they just had me sign the back of my ticket then.

When we werfe there in October, each of our tickets had our name inprinted on them. It was clear which ticket belonged to which person.

Two measures, the names are printed on the tickets so it is easy to pass them out to the proper person. In addition when the tickets are purchased together they are often linked so all the biometrics will work with each ticket. The exception is childrens tickets 2-9 don't need biometrics so you won't want to switch an adult for a child.

FWIW we have had annual passes for over 4 years now and always had to use the biometrics. I also hold all our passes and just give them out, by name when entering the park. Then I collect them after we are through the turynstyles. You shouldn't have any problem.

The CM at the epcot turnstyle told us we should write our names on our tickets so we didn't mix them up. Since they each had a different character on them and we knew who's was who's we didn't have to do that but it is an option if you need it.

If you purchase them directly from Disney, they should have the owner's name printed on the ticket. If you get them from somewhere else, use a marker (Sharpie works good) and put their name on it. If the ticket is on the Key to the World Room ID, it should have their name on it.

We have tickets that were purchased prior to the biometric system. We usede them after the system was installed are they also linked to the biometric. We did have to put our fingers in the scanner. Thanks for your help. I don't know which ticket belongs to who and only 3 out of 6 of us are going, I'd hate to have to bring all the tickets. Thanks for your help.

We purchased ours from Ticketmania, and the first day we used them the CM handed us a pen and had us sign them. There is a spot on the back just like a credit card.

Sign them! I accidently forgot to take our tickets back when I was getting fast passes and the machine ate them! The CM was able to go into the back of the machine and quickly find ours (amoung a few other tickets - a bit common?!?!) and no questions were asked due to the name matching our driver's license!
