So...tell me...family style means they bring the food on a skillet to your table and everyone shares, right?

You can ask for seconds of things you like, right?

What if your party really loves one or two items and doesn´t care so much for the rest? Can you ask for thirds, fourths, fifths (well you get the picture), or will that be frowned upon?
 
Yes family style places, ie... LTT, Ohana's, WCC are all brought to you in skillets or as seperate dishes and yes you can keep asking for just the items you prefer. I don't remember how many times we asked for more shrimp at Ohana's last year quite a few times. :rolleyes1

Same here. The server knew anytime he had the shrimp skewer in hand to stop by my table first. He did a great job and was tipped handsomly for all those shrimp.....
