Is there any other restauraunt that is family style for breakfast besides O'hanas? O'hana's was great but we want to try someplace else and I don't want to have to keep getting up since our kids are so young. Thanks

I think that all of the other character breakfasts are buffets.

We use to really like the Pooh character breakfast that was served at Olivia's (Old Key West). It wasn't served family style, but was a "pre-plated" meal. We liked it for the same reason you state in your post. With young children, buffets can be quite a pain since you have to fill plates for them, then fill a plate for yourself. Plus you have to fold that activity into watching for the characters, being careful that Dad (aka chief photographer and camcorder operator :earsboy: ) isn't up getting food when one of the characters stops by for a visit.

Unfortunately, the Olivia's Pooh breakfast was one of the post-September 11th cutbacks and has never been reinstated. :(

While Crystal Palace was being refurbished this fall, the Pooh character breakfast there moved to Tony's, and I think that was a pre-plated meal as well. Unfortunately, it moved back to CP before we could get back to the World.

Princess Storybook Breakfast at the Akershus in Norway at Epcot is family style.

Also, while not family style, Once Upon a Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in Cinderella's Castle at the MK is pre-plated.

Character Meal's

The 3 family style character breakfasts are:
Cinderella's Royal Table
'Ohana
The Storybook Princess breakfast in Norway in Epcot.

Hope that helps!

Going by these definitions...

Family-style -- the server brings large bowls/plates/skillets of food and you serve yourself.

Pre-plated meals. These meals are served to each guest and each plate includes the same meal.

...Cinderella's Royal Table is not family style; at least when we went, it was pre-plated. We were able to get seconds on anything on the plate.

Several years ago we had a family style breakfast at the Land pavilion in EPCOT- I'm not sure that thye still serve that there however.

karebear1--You're thinking of Garden Grille. They don't serve breakast anymore:(

My kids love lunch and dinner here.:D And it is served family style
