Family staying in different resorts! Help!

My family already has reservations for POFQ and I can't wait. I have read nothing but great things about it! Anyway, my 2 newly-found biological sisters and 2 nephews have made reservations at POP for economical reasons. Would they have trouble coming to our resort to swim or whatever? I was hoping they could hang with us until it was time for bed. Thanks.

There should be no problems as long as your there with them. Have a good time, youll love POFQ

We LOVE POFQ! But you might want to go over and check out Pop with them, too. Pop has 3 pools and is a really fun environment with all the icons. You can get some great photo's of your family there.

Resort pools are for teh use of registered guests of that resort only. I've never heard of ID checking at Pop, but it could happen and they could be asked to leave.

Why not plan on a day at a water park, and then a nice dinner or spending time in DTD in the evening instead, avoiding potential for embarassment.

I would ask the front desk at your hotel and see if it is ok with them. I wouldn't just have them show up to swim at your resort or if you go to Pop.

We always stay at a different resort from the rest of the family (keeps the peace, ha, ha), and will plan a dinner at each other's resorts, or just sitting and visiting, but not swimming, in order to abide by Disney rules. We also "resort hop" for different dinners, Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge, Boma at AKL, OHanas at Poly, etc, so we can all get a look see...
