Family reunion: Magic or Wonder Any tips???

I am going to be arranging for my family and inlaws and friends to join us on a Disney Cruise in the spring of 2005. I know it seems forever away but I want to plan well in advance and make sure everything goes "smooth". DH, DS, DD and myself went on a 4 day Wonder cruise this past November and that is all we STILL talk about. It was amazing and we want evryone to join us this time (and the response has been great. I'm up to 23 people so far). I'm just not sure 1) What month to go? April, May, June???
2) 4 or 7 day (I really want 7 but a few are
afraid because it's their first cruise)
3) Can I group all our rooms together?
4) Do they give group rates??
If anyone has done this before, I would appreciate any tips!!!

Hi ! Well we are headed to a family reunion--though not as big as yours--On May 25th Wonder. We have four staterooms--and we got the best deal through allseastravel.com. Two of the rooms are adjoining, and the others are on the same floor. I'm sure at this stage you could still get the rooms in a block.

I am not sure how big your group needs to be to get a discount through Disney, but I do know I asked for a sdiscounted rate and the best rate that they ever offered on several different calls was more than what I got on my first call to all seasons.

My father insisted on buying the Family reunion package--we get a t-shirt and something else. I personally thought it wasn't worth the price, but he wanted it for all of our cabins. I can't remember how much it was, but you should look into it.

We're doing the 4 day cruise, and I would tend to err to the cautious side--if they love it you can invite them on a 7 day in the future!

I'll be happy to let you know how ours turn out.
