Where would we go to have a family portrait taken with Mickey? I've tried to find info on Studio M at the Marketplace, and it seems to have closed. Is there anywhere we could have a family picture taken with Mickey? Our daughter wants a picture with Mickey, and I'm lost. Thanks in advance for any help.

Try Toon Town, they have a meet and greet section or
try EPCOT they have the same type venue.

Make sure you use your PHOTO PASS card.

You can order your CD in advance for $99 or pay $125 on looking
a the pic and then ordering. Use the Photo pass lots and it
brings down the cost per photo plus you can add borders and
all kind of neat stuff to the pics and then take them to your
favorite Digital Photo Center and print to your heats delight
because you receive a "Copy-Right" release right on the CD.

If you have a Disney Visa (or can get one before your trip), there is a character meet and greet in Epcot that is just for Disney Visa cardholders. They will take your picture, give you a coupon for a free 5x7 print of the picture, and put it on your photopass. The character meet and greet is held in a room that only one family is in at a time, so you get some privacy with the characters. When we went over Christmas, it wasn't terribly busy and we had time to goof off with some of the characters. Characters alternate, but Mickey is one of the ones who rotates through (he comes about every 1/2 hour or so). There are usually multiple characters there at a time, so you can get pics of your family with more than one character in the picture (which can be tough otherwise).

After you let the photopass guys use their camera, they are alway happy to take a picture with your camera too. My family got used to smiling for every non-busy photopass person we passed! It was some of the best $ spent on the vacation.

Where is located in Epcot? Can you give more information, hours, etc?

I don't remember where it is located or the hours (and we haven't been there recently so time/location may have changed). You should be able to ask about it at the parks or hotel and get the info you need (or maybe someone else will know).

We did this last week... it is located in the Innoventions building in Epcot right next to the Segway demo area (it also next to the fire safety area, which my DD absolutely loved) The characters are always a surprise... but we got Pluto and Mickey.

I am not sure of the available times, but we were there on a Thursday around 2:00 pm. There is a number to call Disney Visa to find out availability, but I don't have it with me right now.

from the Disney Visa web site: (the time last year was from 1-4pm)

4. The Walt Disney World® Resort Character Meet 'N' Greet Event is offered once daily at a selected time at Epcot®. Separate Theme Park admission required. Must present a valid Disney Rewards® Visa® Card for entry for up to 6 people per card. Operating times, days of the week, location and appearance of Characters may vary and are subject to change without notice. Subject to availability and location capacity. Offer includes one 5X7 keepsake photo per valid cardmember account.

At Hollywood Studios, Sorcerer Mickey is in the Magic of Disney Animation. There was a significantly shorter line there than at Toontown when we went last month.
The line fluctuated as the movie lets out. We actually went in through the gift shop (CM told us that was ok- we'd seen the movie the day before, just wanted to go back in to do the animation class again. Sidebar- but that is a very neat thing to do! :)) instead-- happened to be while the movie was still happening and there was no line. Mr/Mrs Incredible was in there as well, Frozone was there another time we were in there.

We got a great family picture in Toon Town with Mickey
