Our family of five (3 teenagers) is looking for a resort with club level for our August trip. Looks like some of the resorts we’ve previously stayed at are now four to a room (Yacht club, Beach Club? Anyone know why the change?). We really enjoy the club level and don’t want to stay in one of the villas. Can anyone help with suggestions of resorts with club level they’ve enjoyed that would still accommodate 5 to a room?

YC is only 4? I thought it was 5.

Poly and CR are the only resorts we have stayed at that accommodate 5 in CL rooms. The poly has very niced sized rooms. I believe the contemporary does as well, however, we ended up being upgraded to a suite.

I think BWI accommodates 5. I have heard very good things about their CL lounge, and it may be a good alternative to YC and BC.

Our family of five stayed Club Level at the Poly in July 2017. We loved it! It was so nice to wake up and enjoy coffee/breakfast overlooking the water and staring at the Magic Kingdom in the distance. It was expensive, and I'm not sure we could afford to do it again, but it definitely spoiled us!

Poly and GF can both accommodate a family of 5. We love both. Contemporary too! Our favorite resort is Poly and favorite lounge is GF main building!

I've had great stays/experiences at GF RPC, Poly CL and BWI CL. All accommodate 5, with BWI having a deluxe CL room option (is larger than standard CL room with a seating area, pull out couch and 2nd tv). It's been quite awhile since my RPC stay, but I had my first BWI CL stay last June and my first Poly CL stay this past Oct and both were amazing! The BWI lounge is kinda small, but we never had trouble getting a table any time of day. Both had good food offerings that were always replenished quickly when they got low and the CL CMs at both were very friendly and accommodating.

Poly was an amazing Club Level! The food was amazing, staff were great, the lounge room has a pretty view of the castle and fireworks....plus, the location of Poly for Epcot and MK transportation cannot be beat.

We have stayed YC before and were disappointed to find out that there's no CL for five for our May trip. However, my 3 kids are also "full-sized" :), and TBH the rooms with two queens and a daybed wouldn't work that well anyway. I thought things were tight when we were last there and the kids were much smaller.

The standard CL rooms at BWI are also that size and layout, even though they're club level. So I've booked the Deluxe CL room at BWI that @mickeynut1 mentioned, and technically can hold six people because the pull-out is a queen size. There's also more square footage and the option for a bigger balcony (all of them face the Boardwalk).

Also, wherever you stay, check the sink/shower configuration. I was tempted by the CR but nixed it because the rooms I liked didn't have the sink(s) separate from the shower, which is a fatal flaw when traveling with teens!

Weird on the change on the BC. We stayed CL at the BC over Christmas with five people. You are in one of the deluxe rooms, which are not on the CL floor, but there was actually room for six people. Other than that, we have stayed at GF CL, but my kids are smaller, so the fold out of the wall twin isn't an issue for one of them to sleep on.
