DH and I are taking our 4 children (ages 4, 5, 8 & 12) to WDW in Feb. of 2008. I am thinking that we will be spending alot of time in the MK with AK & Epcot close seconds. Trying to decide whether to book Polynesian of AKL.

I love the thought of AKL but am concerned about the distance to the MK as the youngest kids will likely be there most frequently and I can only imagine how tired they will get.

Trying to decide btw 2 Poly rooms (MK view) and 2 AKL deluxe rooms. What do you veterans recommend? I appreciate any input.:goodvibes

We have stayed both with 5(once with 5 plus a crib at the Poly) Personally I love Disney in Feb! The weather was great, no crowds at all, and we got to do more that trip with out the kids getting tired. We also happened to be staying at AKL in Feb when we went. I would say that a MK view at the Poly would be the most memorable/easiest than AKL. It has gorgeous views, close to the parks, love the restaurants, and we could watch fireworks from our room. But there were many things we like about AKL than Poly. Kids loved the bunk beds, the animals(had the Savannah view) it was a calm scerene atmosphere, we didn't mind the long walk to our room b/c we weren't that tired, but it did get bothersome when we had to go back to the room b/c we forgot something. Either way you will enjoy your stay!!

i have stayed at both but would opt for poly if this was my 1st trip-but akl is my favorite resort
its sooooo relaxing and the transportation never bothered us as we didnt share with other resorts but when we stayed at poly we had the monorail
so my choice would be poly-only because of the monorail
